Alarm Monitoring, Redcare and ARC
24 hour Monitoring of Your Alarm

Figures from the government indicate that a high percentage of fires occur when a building is unoccupied. A monitored alarm can assure a swift response from the Fire Service at the first detection of a fire.
Bells only The problem with having an alarm system only rings an alarm bell is that ring bells are often seen as a nuisance and are usually ignored. They are reliant upon someone taking action
Passive Monitoring With this type of system, the alarm is connected to an Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) via an ordinary telephone line. If a fire alarm is triggered, the ARC may call the emergency services if required. The problem is that id the telephone line is faulty or cut, the signal will not reach the ARC.
Active Monitoring Again the alarm is connected to an Alarm Receiving Centre via a phone line. with redcare, the phone line is checked continuously and if there are any interuptions a warning signal will be deliverd to the ARC. This means that your alarm signalling can never be compromised without knowledge of the ARC.
Active Monitoring Using Dual Paths Redcare gsm uses two alarm signalling paths - the telephone line and a radio network. If one of these paths is attacked or fails, the other continues to monitor your alarm regardless of which one fails first.
GD Systems can install and commission the equipment, organise the ARC and run the contract for you - Call us for details.
