Management of the Salto System is achieved using the following technologies. The choice will depend upon the application.

SMILE

The SMILE range of  lock is a simple way to manage an electronic locking system.  It is a stand alone system with no requirment for cabling, PC connections or software.
It allows management of a locking plan with absolute flexibility without the need for software and peripherals.
Each lock is fitted to the door (easily retro fitted) and is powered by AAA batteries
This system is ideal for those installations that do not need time zones and audit trails, but do require a quick and flexible electronic key system.

  • Simple to program from tags (no software/computer required).
  • A red programming tag controls programming up-to 1000 users per lock in 1 or as many SMILE locks as required in a system.
  • User tags supplied with deletion cards that can be filed away and used for lost tag deletion.
  • Complete lock re-set option.
  • Handles can be programmed to be set in passage mode.
  • Passage mode setting can be restricted to authorised users only

ROM (Read Only)

This option, only available in a ROM version, offers a more comprehensive programming management system that utilises user friendly software. Using software to program the electronic furniture opens up new features beyond those available in the self-programmable version, and makes for a more convenient programming method. The software enables you to assign access to users, introduce changes and invalidate ID-carriers, which may have become lost or stolen. A screen showing doors and, another showing users offers you a global view over the locking plan of your site.

Ideal for small to middle size projects that require flexibility from a centralized software, but that does not need time related functions like time zones, calendars and audit trails.

RW (Read/Write)

This extremely user-friendly Read Write access management software allows you to enjoy all the features of full access control offered by Salto. The main features allow you to program in access time zones for each user, take into account different company calendars, obtain audit-trails from the door to see who has passed through it, and it includes special functions like automatic changes of the door status, anti pass back and relay management (i.e. lifts).

Pro Access RW can manage extremely large installations, and as most access related information is written on the iButton/card, the management of the doors becomes, in most cases, a management of the iButton/Card. By simply updating the badge, you can change most access related authorisations of the users, including adding/deleting doors, time zones, calendars etc

  • Intuitive and user friendly access management program.
  • RW system.
  • Windows 98, NT, 2000 and XP compatible.
  • Highly Advanced Password management
  • 10 different calendars
  • 50 time zones.
  • Audit trail view.
  • Extensive report printing possibilities.
  • Automatic language selection, linked to password.
  • Many advanced features (door modes, anti pass back, etc.).

Pro Access Connected

Pro Access connected is the on line version of Pro Access RW software. For the standard functionality please see Pro Access RW.
The software communicates through an encrypted communication procedure with the on line Control Units, through the existing Ethernet or wi-fi network, allowing real time control of the door.
  • Real Time Audit Trail
  • On line up-date of the Control Unit.
  • Remote opening of the door
  • Emergency opening of one or all on-line doors
  • Emergency closing of one or more on line doors (so valid iButtons/cards will not be able to open the door).
  • Possibility of future firmware up dates on line.
  • Battery control of back up battery (if installed).
  • Forced door alarm
  • 'Door open too long' alarm.
