Intercom and Video Entry Intercom systems are not just for convenience, they increase the security of your property by allowing you to talk to outside callers before they enter the building. Intercom systems are often used in conjunction with access control, security or closed circuit television systems. GD Systems can install a stand-alone intercom system or integrate it into a larger project.
These systems are ideal for flats, vulnerable areas, offices and receptions

Audio IntercomsThese are the simplest of door entry systems. They provide two directional audio communication between an indoor intercom and external door station, with a door opening function

Video Intercoms
Providing a visual control over the door entrance in either B/W or colour The equipment comprises of two main components, an outside "door-bell" and a wall mounted monitor. The pushbutton unit contains a small CCTV camera fitted with a wide-angle lens. When a visitor presses the doorbell a signal is transmitted to the internal monitor. When the monitor receives this signal the monitor "chimes" and displays a picture of the caller. Through the telephone style handset on the monitor you can talk to the visitor to decide whether to let them in or not. The monitor also has a door release button that can also be used to release most standard electric door locks if fitted to the door. After a preset delay of about 60 seconds the monitor switches back to standby, waiting for the next visitor.
Digital SystemsSuitable for large installations, using a data bus wiring, digital systems provide all the traditional functions of intercom, video intercom and telephone systems, with additional functions of door-keeper and panic alarms. |
