The easy to install Elpas Single Door Monitoring Kit is the cost-effective wandering patient protection solution for all individuals,young and old, suffering from Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.

This is a simple stand alone method of continuously monitoring doors. The Elpas SDMK reduces the need to continuously supervise chronic wanderers or to excessively restrict their mobile independence. In simple terms, Elpas SDMK permits regular movement of care givers, guests, other residents or family members through a protected doorway while preventing un-supervised wanderers from exiting through the door.
Each wanderer is given an Elpas SDMK patient wrist tag (worn like a wrist watch) which allows the individual free and unregulated movement within the allowed interior area of the building or residence. Should the wanderer approach the protected door through which he or she is not allowed to pass
through unescorted, the Elpas SDMK's alert intervention functionality will auto trigger.

Elpas SDMK doesn't just have to close doors, it can open them too. A tag could be attached to a wheel chair and used to open automated doors at your facility, helping you to meet DDA requirements.
