EDA-Z-1050 Wired Sounder Board
Zerio Radio Fire Alarm System
Zerio is a comprehensive, feature-rich radio fire alarm system that is ideal for small to medium premises.
The Zerio system is a radio fire alarm designed for smaller applications. The 8 zones and 99 device capacity, along with self learning technology, mean the Zerio is priced to compete with conventional wired systems while still providing all the benefits of wire free technology.
Zerio provides all the benefits of larger wireless fire alarm systems such as reduced installation time and minimal disruption to business and décor. It is addressable so each individual device will show in English text on the LCD display.
Due to the style and price, the Zerio is also very acceptable to the domestic market place, and is the perfect solution for Houses of Multiple Occupation, rental properties and small Hotels.
Zerio System Components
EDA-Z1000 Main CIE Panel
The Zerio panel is an 8 zone wireless fire alarm control panel which is designed for small to medium sized premises. The Zerio system supports up to 99 devices and 3 repeaters/boosters. The signal boosters/repeaters are modified radio sounders with an additional low cost mains power supply unit.
The wireless Zerio panel makes up a system which is ideally suited for Houses of Multiple Occupation (HMO) as the panel can be fitted with back-up batteries which meet BS5839, Part 6 requirement of 72 hours standby supply, in case of mains failure.

EDA-R1000 Wireless Smoke Detector
The smoke detector is available either as a smoke detector or multi-sensor incorporating all electronics, batteries, antenna, sensing element and base into a single, compact aesthetically pleasing design.
EDA-R2000 Combined Smoke Detector / Sounder
Based on the sane principle of operation as the EDA-R1000 smoke detector, this unit detects smoke and is capable of generating an alarm. Designed primarily for bedroom use, this combined smoke detector sounder is capable of an output rated at 90 dB(A), which will easily meet the BS5839 requirement of 75dB(A) at the bedhead.
EDA-D1000 Wireless Heat Detector
The heat detector has a similar specification to the smoke detector except that the internal sensing element monitors change in temperature. The installer has the choice of programming this unit as either rate of rise or as a fixed point detector.
EDA-C1000 Wireless Call Point
The fundamental part of any fire alarm system, this radio unit is no larger than a standard wired break glass unit. Complying with the relevant parts of EN54, the unit transmits to the control panel at regular intervals but should its status change, a transmission immediately occurs.
EDA-A2000 Wireless Sounder

The radio sounder enables large rooms to be covered with a single unit. Although adjustable, the volume output at 1m is 105 dB(A), and is therefore ofter used to cover multiple or large rooms. If required, the unit can be zoned to sound only in certain areas
EDA-A2060 Strobe
The radio strobe unit compliments the range of sounding devices to give a visual indication of fire alarm activation. If required, the system can be programmed so that these units operate a few minutes prior to the sounders operating, waning staff of a fire alarm activation and allowing investigation of the incident before evacuating the building.
EDA-A2080 Input / Output Unit
In order to interface the system to other equipment, various configurations of the I/O unit are available. In its simplest form, whenever the system alarms. a set of clean contacts operate allowing the device to control doors, lifts etc. If required, the unit is capable of monitoring an input allowing other external equipment to indicate an alarm on the radio system.
EDA-A2102 Radio Booster / Sounder Module
Designed to complement the Zerio range of equipment, the EDA-A2102 booster is capable of bi-directional message transmissions between compatible Zerio devices and a control panel, thus substantially increasing the system range. Up to four repeaters can be used, but each has to be inrange of the main control panel as booster cannot communicate with each other.
